    Senior Procurement Analyst, Technology Acquisition Manager, IT Procurement Specialist, Technology Procurement Coordinator

    Location: Cleveland OH (Local Candidates Only)

    Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule (Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

    Contract Details: 12 months

    Pay Rate: $65hr

    We are seeking a Data Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience for a 12-month contract position. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, creating, and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business requirements. This role requires adherence to client data design standards and best practices, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality data.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze complex data to meet specific data requirements.

    • Design and maintain relational and dimensional database designs, following industry best practices.

    • Utilize tools such as Erwin, Star Schema, and Snowflake for effective data design.

    • Support and troubleshoot existing databases.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficient in creating data models using 3rd Normal Form and Dimensional modeling practices.

    • Ability to define and adhere to data standards.

    • Experience writing complex SQL queries.

    • Mentorship experience with less skilled data modelers.

    • Background as a data analyst, showcasing the ability to use SQL to understand business functions.

    • Understanding of reference data management .

    • Critical thinking and analytical skills.

    • Proven ability to identify operational efficiencies and implement improvements.

    • Minimum 7 years working in application development with database management experience

    Essential Functions:

    • Lead the development of standards and best practices for data design, naming conventions, and coding practices.

    • Translate business needs into conceptual, logical, and physical data models in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT.

    • Design and implement necessary database tables, data strategies, and data flows in collaboration with the Application Development team.

    • Maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with metadata.

    • Contribute to the creation of data design patterns and best practices within IT.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 7+ years' experience as a Data Designer or in an equivalent role.

    • 10-15 years of overall experience, demonstrating seasoned expertise.

    • Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.

    • Strong communication skills across all levels, including business stakeholders.

    • Self-starter and critical thinker.
