    Job Description:

    The Database Administrator provides technical and operational support for the operation and maintenance of the on-premise databases. This role is responsible for providing expert database support on the planning and implementation of all required preventative and reactive database maintenance activities, including the physical installation and performance management services for the database software; installing new database versions, patches, and hot fixes; maintaining and insuring database security compliance; and setting and tuning system parameters.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.

    • Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.

    • Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products.

    • Performs database and software lifecycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.

    • Performs Oracle, SQLServer and Sybase Database and Application server administration.

    • Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.

    Here's what you need:

    • 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)

    • Bachelor's degree in a computer science or STEM or 4 years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

    Security Clearance:

    Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

    Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.?As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and?information on benefits offered is here.     California: $122,600 - $234,900

    Colorado: $122,600 - $202,900

    New York: $113,500 - $234,900

    Washington: $130,500 - $215,900
