    Summary:

    Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ? On-Premises

    Provides support and maintenance to customers within the organizations desktop computing environment. The position requires not only technical expertise in installing, diagnosing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading all IT desktop products, and systems to ensure optimal performance, but also includes the demonstrated ability to understand and translate business problems into effective resolutions. This position will troubleshoot problems (in person, by telephone, and remotely) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide customer assistance where required. This position consistently demonstrates excellent customer service across the organization.

    Additional Information:

    One year of experience supporting Linux.

    Experience remediating Windows vulnerabilities via SCCM

    PowerShell experience

    Security Plus certification desired

    A Plus certificate desired

    Network Plus certificate desired

    Description

    1. Maintains Desktop Hardware/Software and Network Support.

    2. Performs analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex desktop hardware/software problems for end-users. Also, refers major hardware/software problems or defective products for service.

    3. Properly installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots all end-user related hardware and software (including wireless and virtual technologies) to ensure smooth and reliable operation.

    4. Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages and/or emails regarding computer systems and network problems.

    5. Creates and maintains documentation per departmental guidelines. This includes technical documentation for hardware/software and related products as well as procedure recommendations to improve the ITO workflow.

    6. Actively participates in evaluating/testing hardware/software standards by identifying and resolving potential problems, and make well thought out recommendations.

    7. Documents and maintains an accurate inventory of all desktop equipment per department guidelines.

    8. Conducts research, diagnotics, and confer with users to investigate and resolve problems and to provide exceptional technical assistance and support to customers.

    9. Assists manager in writing technical specifications for desktop hardware, software and related products.

    10. Performs other duties as assigned. that are in the determination of management associated with the position and are commensurate with the incumbent's knowledge and experience.

    11. Rotating On-Call Pager.

    12. Performs other duties as assigned.
