DevOps Engineer

Description Robert Half is hiring! We are looking to bring on a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in the financial services industry. The role involves managing our DevOps infrastructure and deployments, with an emphasis on public/private/hybrid cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the TechOps, DevOps, and software engineering spaces, bringing at least 2-5 years of experience in these fields. - Manage DevOps infrastructure and deployments with a minimum of 2 years of experience. - Apply understanding of core concepts for Public/Private/Hybrid clouds (networking, security, identity access management, etc.). - Utilize Public/Private Cloud Experience from major providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, or OpenStack. - Leverage Container Orchestration/Virtualization Experience such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. - Work with varied OS Experience (Windows Server, Linux variants). - Implement understanding of security and networking (ports/protocols), firewalls, load balancers and IPS, container security. - Use CI/CD Tools experience (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.). - Work with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, or Redis, etc. - Apply strong programming Skills (Interpretive languages such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell and Compiled languages such as C# etc. - Ability to learn new programming languages as needed). Requirements - Possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience with Terraform

• Proficient in Kubernetes and its associated workflows

• Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) processes and tools

• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its suite of cloud services

• Prior experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under high-pressure situations

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications in DevOps and cloud technologies will be considered an advantage
