    In this role, you will manage the business aspects of the products we build and collaborate with leaders of other UX, Engineering, and Product Management teams to create innovative digital experiences across all Western Union products, leveraging your passion for brand, craft, and design quality.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Work on all aspects of Digital UX design including information architecture, interaction, motion, visual, and prototyping.

    • Hands-on UX leadership role where you will have an accountable role from vision to execution.

    • Guide a team of designers on how to craft best-in-class experiences.

    • Drive design from early-stage conceptual ideasthrough launch.

    • Lead brainstorming sessions and design reviews and quick, iterative user research for ideation and concept refinement.?

    • Create and rapidly iterate ideas in order to develop them, via storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, motion designs, and prototypes, or other novel methods.

    • Lead complex design products across multiple platforms in different product development life cycles.

    Role Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

    • Demonstrable experience in the financial services sector, with a deep understanding of its challenges and nuances.

    • Proficiency in a variety of design tools including Figma, Sketch and others.

    • Solid track record in leading design teams from early-stage conceptual design through launch.

    • In-depth understanding of large design systems and their applications.

    • Experience collaborating with vendors to achieve design objectives.

    • Strong grasp of information architecture principles.

    • Stellar communication skills to articulate and champion design decisions.

    Salary

    The on-target earnings range is $203,000 - $268,800 per year, which includes a base salary, short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
