    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Develop and execute strategies for DAS engineering initiatives aligned with business objectives.

    • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

    • Lead a team of DAS engineers, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning to optimize team performance.

    • Oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of DAS projects from conception to delivery.

    • Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

    • Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

    • Maintain a deep understanding of DAS technology, including RF engineering principles, antenna systems, propagation modeling, and network optimization techniques.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex engineering challenges and ensure network reliability and performance.

    • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure DAS networks meet performance specifications and regulatory requirements.

    • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

    • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with DAS equipment vendors, contractors, and service providers.

    • Negotiate contracts, procure equipment, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements and project requirements.

    • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in DAS infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies to minimize downtime, security breaches, and service disruptions.

    • Implement robust contingency plans and disaster recovery measures to ensure business continuity.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and IT to support business development efforts, address customer needs, and drive revenue growth.

    • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to articulate the value proposition of DAS solutions.

    • Stay abreast of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to DAS engineering, including FCC regulations, building codes, and safety guidelines.

    • Ensure DAS installations adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks to mitigate legal and financial risks.

    • Implement monitoring tools and performance metrics to track the health and performance of DAS networks.

    • Generate regular reports and analytics to assess network performance, capacity utilization, and customer satisfaction.

    • Present findings to senior management and stakeholders to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

    • 8+ years of experience in wireless telecommunications, with a focus on DAS engineering and deployment.

    • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and large-scale projects.

    • In-depth knowledge of DAS technology, RF engineering principles, and wireless network design.

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive results, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

    • Industry certifications such as PMP, RCDD, or CWNE are desirable.

    YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

    On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours Monday - Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.
