Description and Requirements

Duties: Manage delivery of multiple programs servicing pet insurance using Agile Delivery Model, focusing on Azure cloud and mobile technologies as well as integrations with other MetLife systems using C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net Core, Azure technologies, Xamarin, Docker and Kubernetes. Analyze, design and drive solutions for major components and features. Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technological issues concerning technology compatibility and technology implementation. Implement CI/CD and automated testing for managed projects using Azure DevOps pipelines, implement continuous monitoring for all cloud hosted applications and components, and define metrics and KPIs to collect and create alerts using Azure Monitor log analytics and app insights. Identify application risks, plan and execute mitigation controls, and work with production support team to resolve critical issues. Prepare and execute technical roadmaps and migration plans to upgrade application infrastructure, conduct product assessments, and onboard new technology. Manage and coordinate work of onsite and offshore teams and manage work assignment and annual performance reviews.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Management Information Systems (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eight (8) years of experience performing project delivery in a technology organization, focusing on full-stack software engineering. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- must possess the following: Managing full-time or offshore engineers; creating, analyzing and reviewing architecture for cloud native application using Azure Cloud Services; building, delivering and operating complex, Azure cloud-based systems, using C#, ASP.NET [asp.net] MVC, ASP.NET [asp.net] Core MVC and Microsoft SQL; delivering multiple programs with ~~~, AngularJS or VueJS; and building and delivering an API platform. Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
