Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Container/Docker/DevOps engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design and implement container orchestration solutions using tools such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or similar platforms

What You'll Be Doing:

• Act as team SME on container orchestration solutions; Advise and provide guidance to team members and project stakeholders

• Design and implement container orchestration solutions using tools such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or similar platforms

• Collaborate with software development team on deployment of containerized applications

• Optimize orchestration for performance, maintainability, and reliability

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Hands-on experience with Container Orchestration solutions

• In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies

• Understanding of microservices architecture and container deployment patterns

• Proficiency with scripting and automation (ex. Bash, Python)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Prior experience with establishing CI/CD pipeline for build and deployment of containerized applications

• Experience with container networking and storage solutions

• Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environment

Salary Range

$100,400.00 - $175,700.00
