Drafter

Description

Actalent is seeking a Drafter that is excited to work on MEP projects. Projects are mainly retail and would be utilizing Revit to complete the work. The right candidate will have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drafting / design projects and feel proficient using Revit.

• The Drafter position will serve as support for the design department.

• Setting up new projects for design disciplines in both AutoCAD and Revit

• Making PDF/DWF sets for coordination with clients and internal review

• Create and maintain a database of code stipulations per State/Province/City, etc

• Maintenance of AudoCad/Revit standards in concert with BIM Manager

• Will be working on K-12, retail, and other commercial projects

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors, Associates, or Certificate in Drafting and Design or Engineering Technology

• Comfortable using Revit

• Knowledge of MEP projects

• Strong communication skills
