Embedded Software Development Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team in Newtown!

This is a role where you will plan, design, develop and test software for embedded systems, including feature enhancements and new products.

You will perform as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging of embedded software.

Your Challenge:

• Design development, code, test, and debug new software or complex enhancements to existing embedded software.

• Works directly with hardware development teams to bring up new processor boards.

• Works with both hardware and software technical staff to understand and develop resolution of software and/or hardware problems.

• Resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.

What You Bring:

• BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering

• Domain knowledge of software data structures and programming methodology, computer architecture, and operating systems / systems programming.

• Fluency in programming C Language development experience.

• 5-7 Years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with MS office.

• Familiarity with industry guidelines and standards for engineering processes, efficient algorithms and intractable problems.

• Due to the nature of work, must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
