Embedded Technical Lead

Job Description

Insight global is looking for an Embedded Technical Lead for one of our largest defense clients out of Warren, MI. This position is onsite 1 day a week. This person is joining a team that is supporting a combat vehicle for the army. This program is overseeing a modernization of electronic components on these combat vehicles. This person will not have direct reports, but will act as a SME and support other engineers. This role itself doesn't require a lot of coding, but this person will be reviewing code and suggesting improvements or changes that should be made. This team also does take on a MBSE approach to visual capture software design.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of Embedded experience

• Previous programming experience within C, C++, or related language

• Comfortable acting as a Subject Matter Expert and working cross functionally with other engineers

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science field

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance - Previous DoD experience

• Active Secret Clearance

• Ada experience null
