    In this Quality Engineering Assistant III role you will play a critical role within I ncoming Inspection , where you will determine the acceptability of products delivered by our Supplier s. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the Incoming Inspection and Bond Room personnel where you will help control, contain and work with programs to disposition non-conforming material, while also ensuring compliance to Inspection requirements. Other tasking will include conducting audits, providing status on projects or products, analyzing data to make informed decisions and reporting on metrics.

    Candidate will serve as a consultant to the Material Review Board as well as cross functional disciplines on matters affecting the quality of supplier provided product.

    This role will be performed full-time onsite because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular job. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • High School degree or equivalent

    • Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience supporting inspection and/or engineering environments

    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team environment)

    • Produce high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

    • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Power Point

    • Ability to read and interpret technical data packages, engineering drawings, parts lists, Bill of Materials, component specifications, Military Standards and Commercial Processes

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Familiarity with Auditing procedures and Quality Management Systems like AS9100

    • Working knowledge with AS9102 PPV / FAI forms and performing FAI Inspection

    • Material review board and failure review board experience

    • Experience tracking Incoming hardware and documenting non-conformances in Inspection Documenting Systems like TIPQA

    • Experience in ESD and FOD controlled area

    • Experience using various inspection tools such as Vernier s, microscopes, gauges, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), etc

    • Control of Non Conforming Material including leading containment and disposition activities

    • Experience with Quality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
