We're excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team as a night shift Engineering Technician! This role is essential to bridge the gap in skill sets on the night shift.

The hours are Monday-Thursday 5:30p-4a with some OT on Fridays, and we're offering up to $40/hr with a shift premium included. We're even willing to pay a relocation fee for anyone not in our area.

We're looking for someone with high root/cause analysis skills, either 5 years of experience or an Associate's degree. This person will be relied on heavily during the off shift to solve machine problems and provide guidance to the process technician.

Our training is hands-on and requires the candidate to work on 1st shift for roughly 3 months. Check out the attached JD for more details.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing manufacturing procedures for products based on performance specifications

• Assist in developing troubleshooting/problem solving procedures for equipment and processes

• Understand and modify electrical and electronic controls to improve equipment and processes

• Modify/Program logic controllers for existing equipment and aid in creation of controls for new equipment.

• Write Standard Operating Procedures based on specific equipment and manufacturing processes

• Investigate non-conforming product and make corrective action recommendations

• Perform project work as assigned by the Operations Leader/Manufacturing Engineers/Manufacturing Manager

• Lead/Participate in problem solving methodologies (root cause analysis, 5 Why, Shainin/6 Sigma)

• Summarize Investigation results to aid in permanent corrective actions

• AS Degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a minimum five years of similar work experience

• Experience with electrical, mechanical and controls of machinery used in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with electronic data acquisition

• Experience with developing & troubleshooting machine controls - PLC, HMI, IED, etc.
