Engineering Technician

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician to support an integrator in the Submarine Community. The role is supporting a large navy program that has a direct effect on the capabilities and success of the operators who use the technology. The technician will be helping create systems that are integrated onto submarines in an extremely collaborative and productive environment. Day to Day May Include... -Reading and following drawings and schematics -Identifying defects and complete appropriate documentation -Rework and repair equipment -Harness assembly -Use and maintentence of hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

In this role, the ideal candidate will possess... -High School Diploma or GED - 1-2 years of technician or related work experience (working with hands) -Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a dynamic environment -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites -Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, at a high level with attention to detail -Previously held J-STD-Cert or ability to go through certification -IPC Standard would be ideal however can cover certification
