Engineering Technician

Our client, a leading and one of the 500 Fortune Company is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Home Care Division supporting their retail business. The ideal candidate will have communication, presentation, and analytical skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% Onsite)

Contract: 12 months.

What's the Job?

• Conduct independent lab tasks, data analysis, and documentation.

• Collaborate with engineers on product testing, manufacturing issues, and audits.

• Assist in production scale-up, product claims, and test method development.

• Operate lab equipment for product testing and document findings.

• Support product development through prototyping, modifying products, and maintaining tools and lab equipment.

What's Needed?

• Education and Experience: BS or BA with 1+ year of lab experience, or associate degree with 2+ years of lab experience.

• Skills: Ability to work independently, basic data collection and analysis skills (MS Office Suite).

• Preferred Education: BS or BA degree.

• Preferred Experience: 1+ year with plastics/consumer products, 2+ years in product testing/audits, 1+ year with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).

• Additional Qualities: Analytical mindset, critical thinking, excellent communication, hands-on skills for prototyping.
