Test Technician

Our client, an autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team in Sunnyvale. This is a long-term contract opportunity

Job Title: Data Center Operations Test Technician

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Pay Range: 40-45/hr

What's the Job?

• Support and track various configurations and generations of test platforms for vehicle simulation and software test platform

• Assemble custom hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds

• Use commercially available, off-the-shelf components to build computers

• Integrate network and vehicle system components in server racks

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware/equipment

What's Needed?

• Demonstrate ability to use general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)

• Experience with building/troubleshooting/diagnosing computers, Arduino side projects, etc.

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Ideal candidates will have expertise in the following areas

• Experience with server racks.

• Proficiency in soldering and working with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components to assemble and repair hardware.

• Familiarity with UNIX operating systems to navigate and manage software environments effectively.

• Ability to crimp connectors on cables with precision, ensuring reliable connectivity in test setups.
