    Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for Entry-Level Industrial Engineers to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Applies basic industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements.

    • Supports the development of plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows.

    • Participates in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.

    • Assists with designing, maintaining, and optimizing the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.

    • Conducts basic work flow design and analysis.

    • Develops simple models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders.

    • Supports research, design, develop, improve, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.

    • Supports implementation plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.

    • Documents product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices.

    • Supports the preparation of operations plans, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are met.

    • Supports execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices.

    • Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support.

    • Follows compliance requirements with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

    • Less than 1 year of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment

    • Less than 1 year of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering

    • Less than 1 year of experience working in a team environment.

    • Less than 1 year of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Entry-Level: $60,350- $81,650
