Responsibilities

• Research and benchmark the competition and future trends

• Research future trends in product design to forecast application to Navistar products

• Develop 2D concepts via manual and digital sketching and rendering

• Possess the ability for basic 3D digital modeling for concept development and/or exploration

• Develop both verbal and visual presentations to present to management to support concepts

• Produce interior and/or exterior sketches, renderings and illustrations for concept and production vehicle products

• Translate sketches into 3D sections for input to digital and physical modeling staff

• Work cross functionally with digital and physical modeling staff

• Participate in product design development or adaption projects

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• 0 - 2 years of experience

• Manual 2D sketching skills

• 3D digital modeling skills in Alias or equivalent

• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and evolving environment

• Be detail oriented and self-motivated

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
