    This Opportunity

    WSP is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician with 3 years of experience to join the Texas office team.

    Your Impact

    • Asbestos abatement project management and contractor oversight

    • Asbestos abatement air monitoring

    • Onsite analysis of asbestos PCM air samples

    • Conduct asbestos-containing materials surveys Adherence to health and safety plans, work plans, and other project guidance documents

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED

    • Texas specific licenses or certifications:

    • Asbestos Inspector

    • Asbestos Project Manager

    • Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician

    • NIOSH 582

    • Experience overseeing abatement contractors

    • Experience with Federal and State regulations related to asbestos abatement

    • Strong verbal, and inter-personal skills

    • Good time-management skills. Ability to focus and attention to detail

    • Must be organized and able to communicate clearly

    • Team player and technical contributor

    • Able to operate within scope, schedule and budget during project implementation

    • Lead and Mold certifications a PLUS
