    As an Epic Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing clinical workflows and ensuring the seamless integration of Epic applications in core clinical areas, such as inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary services. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive analysis of operational specifications, documenting clinical workflows, and actively participating in the build, testing, and support phases of Epic applications.

    This is an ON-SITE role in LAS VEGAS,NV. Potential sign-on/relocation bonus potential of up to $9,000 - depending on position, experience, location, etc

    Job Responsibilities

    • Clinical workflows in inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary applications.

    • Healthcare information systems and processes.

    • Principles and practices of public administration, change management, and project management.

    • Applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to healthcare.

    • Computer applications, including advanced computer skills.

    • Explaining complex technical concepts to end users.

    • Independent judgment on workflow design and problem-solving.

    • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and work standards.

    • Analyzing systems and developing new or modified programs.

    • Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

    Requirements

    Job Requirements

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare informatics, or a related field.

    • Three (3) years of experience in a clinical area impacted by Epic implementation.

    • Two (2) years of experience in Epic application build, test, and support.

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:

    • Current active certification in specific EPIC product(s) or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire. Failure to obtain and/or maintain certification will result in termination of employment.

    Additional and/or Preferred Position Requirements:

    • Epic certification in one or more of the following: Epic Care Inpatient Clinical Documentation, EpicCare Inpatient Procedures Orders, Willow Ambulatory and/or Inpatient, Epic Care Ambulatory, Anesthesia, and/or Beaker (certified in Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology or Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology).

    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare informatics, or a closely related field, OR a valid Nevada Registered Nurse license.

    • Epic application implementation experience.
