This position, working closely with multiple departments and locations, offers a wide variety of long-term growth opportunities.

    As an ERP Business Analyst, you will act as an internal ERP and Applications consultant, working with end users to help optimize business processes through better use of technology. You make a difference for users of our existing systems, while also playing a critical role in key projects including a planned migration to QAD Cloud. You will also help deliver business intelligence reporting, automation and deployment, providing leaders with actionable data synthesized from multiple sources including ERP and related applications. There will be numerous opportunities to improve or learn new skills in a wide variety of areas including business intelligence, security, cloud computing, mobile applications, barcode labeling systems, and more.

    Essential Functions

    • Help support QAD and a wide range of custom-developed business applications

    • Provide ERP and application training and support to users in various departments and locations.

    • Provide internal consulting on projects that have an ERP component.

    • ERP business process mapping, optimization and automation.

    • ERP security and system administration.

    • Assist with EDI setup, testing and troubleshooting.

    • Manage Projects to implement, improve or enhance business systems and technologies.

    • Develop SQL queries, views and Power BI reports for ERP and related applications.

    • Consult with business leaders to streamline processes through better use of systems.

    • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and test plans for system modifications.

    • Facilitate user acceptance testing and training on changes and enhancements

    • Research, test and implement ERP-related solutions to meet business needs including CRM, Quality Management Tools, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Barcode scanning and labeling, Lot Traceability, Engineering Change Tracking, and more.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain or business related field

    • 3+ years experience with QAD ERP (or 5+ years other ERP) in a manufacturing environment

    • 3+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role

    • 3+ years Project Management experience

    • Experience working with EDI

    • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP best practices

    • Strong working knowledge of Office 365, Word, Excel, Access and SharePoint

    • Experience with SQL queries, stored procedures and data relationships

    • Automotive / OEM manufacturing experience is preferred

    • Power BI experience is a plus

    Soft Skills

    • This position requires a passion for working directly with end users at all levels

    • Comfortable getting dirty with manufacturing processes, and also presenting to executives

    • Comfortable engaging with people in person, over the phone, and through web conferencing.

    • Ability to maintain a courteous, and customer service-oriented approach

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

    • Occasional travel may be required between plants or for special projects

    • Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills
