Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Expense Report Specialist to work remotely. Occasional travel to our Herndon, VA office may be required.

    Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

    • Performs complex accounting clerical tasks.

    • May direct lower level accounting assistants.

    • Assists in preparing, adjusting, and closing expense entries.

    • Reviews expense transactions for accuracy and completeness, verifies against appropriate documentation, ensures government regulations are being followed such as FAR, JTR, GSA etc.

    • Assist in developing and training employees on how to create a Travel Authorization, Expense Report and how to get reimbursed.

    • Provides assistance and customer service to fellow colleagues as it relates to Travel and Expense.

    • Track and complete HelpDesk requests pertaining to Travel and Expense

    • Assist with internal and external regulatory compliance audits as it related to Travel and Expense.

    • Responsible for tracking and reconciling Cash Advances.

    • Assists in testing system functionality as required.

    • Assists in developing and providing training for Travel and Expense process and procedure.

    • Researches accounting records to assist in the identification and resolution of problems or inadequacies of accounting information.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines.

    • Experience working in PeopleSoft preferred.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent. 4 or more years of relevant work experience.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    • None. US Citizenship is required.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

    • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.

    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $46,700-$77,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
