As a Lead Test Automation Engineer, you will oversee all test events, both automated and manual. You will coordinate with developers and functional end users to create test plans and test scripts, coordinate with test sites and other team participants to plan test events. Approve test reports. Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug report closure. Must have experience with configuring necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing. Must have technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments. Must have experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures. Must manage the defect database under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 8 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
2 years Test Team Lead experience
5 years of test automation experience
1 year 508 compliance testing preferable.
2 years of Java development experience
2 years experience setting up and maintaining data-driven test automation frameworks
3 years experience with Selenium, JUnit, SoapUI
Oral and written communication skills
Test Data creation and modification
Manual requirements-based skills/testing skills
508 compliance testing preferable.
Agile test methodology
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
