    This position is expected to be a field assignment. The location of the assignment can vary depending on the job and/or client. We do offer per diem for those that qualify.

    In this position, you will provide day-to-day construction management, coordination, and monitoring of site contractor work activities.Ongoing/Special Duties:

    • Attend project meetings, site walkdowns, and C&C team meetings

    • Label new AMI assets according to C&C instructions.

    • Record the new base station asset ID information for future input into cascade (input into Cascade by others).

    • Provide technical support during construction activities.

    • Provide technical support during testing and commissioning activities.

    • Redline IFC prints to capture any changes during construction.

    • Configure AMI base stations according to the instructions provided by NIPSCO. 8. Support base station startup activities.

    Qualifications

    The following skills, experience, and qualifications are required:

    • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent years of experience in industrial/power/process electrical equipment, and systems.

    • Seven or more years of Construction Management and/or commissioning experience in the power industry or other industrial related industries.

    • Willingness to work at project sites and relocate periodically; domestic and international potential.

    • Good verbal and written communication skills.

    • Project planning skills.

    • Leadership and teamwork skills.
