Fullstack Java Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Fullstack Java Developer with Angular experience for a large financial client in Charlotte, NC. This candidate will be expected to design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery. They will be joining the CRP (credit risk platform) team and will be working the feature leads on their Agile team, as well as the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria. This person will need to be able to apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality, as well as ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. They will be responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level. In addition, they will be working with Act as a liaison for production activities/issues. This individual must be able to identify skill and role gaps, and work with Technology Manager to address them and to create resource contingency plans where required. Lastly, this person will play a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team.

Skills and Requirements

* Overall 6-8+ years of experience as a developer (specifically java and angular)

* 5+ years of angular experience

* GIT/Bitbucket or Subversion

* Experience working in Weblogic server, performance tuning, ETL processes, Windows and Linux environments.

* Experience in Agile Development Methodology

* Object-oriented programming

* Experience with JavaScript (Core Java, J2EE-Spring 5, Hibernate, Sprint MVC/Batch), CSS, REACT, Angular 6 or higher!!, NodeJS

* Motivated, great communicator and ability to collaborate with all team members

* Ability to guide the team on work breakdown, execution, skills and best practices (planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices) * Strong querying and PL/SQL experience in multiple database platforms is preferred: Oracle, SQL Server

* Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Artifactory

* Selenium/Cucumber

* Kubernetes, Containers

* Web Services / AWS / Rest / GraphQL

* Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server

* Linux/Unix

* Micro services

* Microstrategy, Tableau null
