This is a hybrid position (90% onsite) JOB DESCRIPTION Teradyne is seeking an experienced Pilot Line Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the New Products Introduction department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed digital ATE technologies. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects by driving issues, influencing outcomes, mentoring junior staff, and providing insights throughout the development lifecycle. JOB DUTIES
Participate in all phases of the design cycle providing feedback enabling long term manufacturing processes.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with Project Deliverables, offering proactive solutions to enhance project success.
Execute and continuously improve processes to achieve product and process stability.
Work collaboratively with all engineering disciplines to ensure successful project launch of high yielding and reliable ATE instrumentation.
Provide data and evidence to assess the stability of hardware, software, and processes, facilitating effective decision-making.
Document test process and train users.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field,
5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to analyze and present data efficiently.
Deep understanding of ATE or measurement system fundamentals.
Knowledge of design and reliability processes
Ability to troubleshoot complex ATE or measurement systems to component level.
Excellent communication skills, in a collaborative environment.
Ability to multitask across multiple projects in various stages of release.
Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Ability to influence and drive issues to resolution.
Working knowledge of Scripting (Perl, Python, etc.) Visual Basic / C# .NET is a plus.
