Help Desk Analyst

Description There is a job opening with Robert Half for a Help Desk Analyst in an innovative and fast-paced work environment at a company in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry. Creatives with talent for solving both routine and unique problems will be a great fit for this position. We need someone who can support local and field users in a highly visible role that has a positive impact on both the department and the company. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term contract / contract to permanent role.

What you get to do every day

• Spot recurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address the root of the problems

• Resolve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

• Deliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally Requirements - IT support ticketing system experience desired

• Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

• Solid understanding of ~~~

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

• Basic networking concepts
