The candidate will be asked to align with field leadership and the customer experience team on a set of service/product area priorities. Additionally, the candidate will regularly assess how our service organization's sales, operations and technical departments work together to deliver seamless customer service and deliver customer value while driving revenue and profitability goals. The candidate will Sstudy market conditions to examine potential sales of (existing or potential) products or services, while leveraging internal offerings from various business units as well as external product offerings and partnerships.Key Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be responsible for NA Carrier Commercial HVAC Service new product development and implementation for building automation and control systems and digital/connected service offerings including the following:Responsibilities+ Run complex projects/programs from design to development to production to dev ops+ Clearly communicate vision and goals of existing and new products and service offerings+ Lead and participate in planning meetings and provide advice and guidance on direction of service products+ Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones+ Work with cross-functional business teams to understand business requirements+ Suggest workable solutions to business owners and technical teams with consideration for product contract and market requirements+ Explore new ways of improving existing applications/services from both business and technical perspective (including offerings available for immediate consumption)+ Plan and Coordinate product timelines and releases with business owners, cross functional and technical team members+ Own backlog and ensure the work items are well understood, testable and completed on time+ Understand and work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems+ Identify and plan to mitigate potential technical and business risks+ Work with our building automation product team to ensure the product roadmap includes aftermarket growth requirements+ Ensure field is trained on our building automation products and how to leverage them in the marketplace+ Liaison with the digital services organization to ensure field adoption of the digital services strategy and ensure roadmap of product incorporates NA requirements+ Manage the NA technical program team for digital services adoption+ Work closely with sales and field operations to ensure accurate market deployment of growth strategiesExperience/Qualifications+ Experience developing and executing strategies within the Building Automation and/or Controls product lines+ HVAC Sales experience a plus+ Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance within a matrix, diverse, global and cross-functional environment+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP+ Willingness to travel 30%Education+ BA/BS degree in Engineering or Business with 5+ years of related experience or+ MA/MS degree in Engineering or Business with 3+ years of related experienceCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
