  • Aerotek is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a phenomenal career opportunity in Kansas City, Kansas! The main function of a maintenance supervisor is to establish, implement, and maintain long-range plans for improvement of maintenance activities and provide technical assistance to the manufacturing departments supported.

    Job Description:

    • Implement and actively support corporate safety policies, initiatives, and plant housekeeping standards.

    • Diagnose equipment malfunction, determine root causes, and initiate immediate and long-term corrections.

    • Support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.

    • Supervise construction and maintenance projects.

    • Assist in the implementation of divisional and corporate policies.

    • Maintain schedule and quality requirements.

    • Implement safety and good housekeeping standards.

    • Train, develop, and evaluate employees.

    Requirements:

    • Fundamental working knowledge of PLCs; RS logic would be ideal

    • Experience with overhead conveyor maintenance and repair, automated/robotic equipment, etc.

    • Prior industrial maintenance supervision experience is required

    • Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Kuka, Fanuc, and robotics

    • Prior experience with the automotive industry is a plus, but not required

    • Ability to determine and correct root cause of controls related downtime issues and get them fixed in a timely manner

    Shift/Pay:

    • Applicants for this position should be open to shift, overtime, and occasionally working weekends

    • Pay could range anywhere from $39/hour to $42/hour; shift differential, overtime, double time, and holiday pay offered
