  • Minimum qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 5 years of customer-facing experience focused on translating financial services customer needs into Cloud Solutions.

    • 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.

    • Experience in the financial services industry applying artificial intelligence solutions to solve problems including customer experience, back-office modernization, fraud detection, etc.

    • Experience with applying Generative AI to solve industry challenges.

    Preferred qualifications

    • 7 years of experience in delivering complex AI or Data Analytics projects.

    • Demonstrated Cloud solution architect capabilities with a broad set of Banking or Capital Markets use cases.

    • Experience in systems design with ability to architect and explain data analytics pipelines, data flows and ML Ops platforms.

    • Experience in a statistical programming language like R or Python and applied machine learning techniques (i.e. dimensionality reduction strategies, classification, and natural language processing frameworks).

    • Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills

    In the role of Financial Services (FS) Industry Solutions Lead, you will collaborate closely with Google Cloud's strategic customers in the financial services industry. You will work with Google Cloud Consulting and Sales team members focused on innovation and transformation, as well as product and development teams dedicated to FS Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions. In partnership with these teams and with Strategic Partners, you will sell, scope and oversee the implementation of Google Cloud's priority financial services AI Industry Solutions. You will apply management, industry-specific consulting expertise, and technical skills to customer engagements while working with Google's clients' executives and key technical leaders to operationalize Google Cloud's Industry Solutions for our top financial services customers.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Develop deep expertise in Financial Services Industry-specific Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions and advocate these solutions among Google's customers, partners and internal stakeholders

    • Lead the scoping and technical delivery of complex AI Industry Solution engagements covering program assurance, issue resolution, and technical validation - driving exceptional customer satisfaction.

    • Work with product and development teams to develop AI Industry Solution delivery strategies and methodologies; consolidate lessons learned into a curated knowledge base to support global scaling of Industry Solutions.

    • Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.

    • Travel 20% of the time as needed.
