    Role Overview :

    To provide leadership and governance to the DT Compliance team across the organization, with a focus on the North and South Americas organizations. The successful candidate will lead DT compliance activities, ensuring compliance with global policies to maximize business continuity and minimize any disruption from information systems. This position reports to the Sr. Director, IT Controls and Site Audit.

    On a typical day you will:

    • Manage direct and indirect reports that are part of the organization.

    • Ensure the organization is structured adequately in terms of resources and qualification to provide the best level of support to the function and internal customers.

    • Participate in departmental strategic planning, process enhancements, and innovation efforts to build the compliance program.

    • Participate in medium to long term program / project planning and prioritization from an DT point of view and prepare adequate DT program roadmaps to support business strategy. Elaborate regular program status reports and dashboards.

    • To be responsible for the DT compliance as per the corporate policies and requirements, to propose solutions and guidance and to ensure that any remediation is developed as per an agreed planning.

    • Ensure that relevant DT projects are properly defined in terms of objectives, scope, approach, resources, budget, and value proposition in accordance the SDLC methodology and in compliance with Otis's control objectives.

    • Ensure that DT projects meet the compliance requirements as per the corporate policies, ethical standards and are following the project approval processes, incl. the Otis Governance Process where relevant.

    • Provide DT compliance leadership to project managers, provide guidance on project methodology application (e.g. SDLC, PM), appropriate project setup and organization, communication, and regular reporting to the key stakeholders.

    • Establish and maintain a close relationship with the internal customers by setting up periodic communication events for status tracking, performance indicators presentation, problem resolution and action plan follow-up.

    • Lead the DT function and organization to the best level of quality in terms of processes and performance by deploying continuous improvement, proposing best practices.

    • Participate in the performance of a variety of assignments related to Digital Technology controls activities and compliance for Otis, globally. This includes all entities including Otis JV's and factories.

    • Comply with Otis' Code of Ethics in respect to our Customer & Suppliers, Employees, Shareowners, Worldwide companies, and competitors and to continuously communicate on Ethics with the DT organization.

    Provide overall compliance leadership and guidance for the locations assigned; responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Communicate and educate DT policies, standards, and service offerings.

    • Provide regulatory or requested reporting for compliance activities related to supported locations.

    • Leverage global Cyber tools for access reporting, reviews, and other tasks where such tools are required or helpful.

    • Monitor, organize and oversee audits and corrective actions, ensuring closure of outstanding issues.

    • Provide coaching and guidance to ensure that operational control activities are completed timely.

    • Standardize and centralize DT Controls processes through data collection and analytics.

    • Continuous Improvement leadership including participation in continuously improving controls & compliance program.

    • Internal and external DT communication, including regular Management communication.

    • Management of suppliers / vendors with respect to controls and compliance.

    • Achieve KPIs established for role.

    What You Will Need to be Successful :

    • Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent, English speaking fluent and additional languages as complement

    • 5 years minimum in DT position/similar position, Background in ERP implementation/ support and Infrastructure related programs (WAN, LAN, Security standards)

    • 5 years minimum in DT Control or similar position in terms of managing compliance issues for IT environment for multiple sites/countries.

    • Dynamic, Focus on Results, Analytical Thinking, Teamwork, Business Judgment and Adaptability.

    • Note, some travel will be required to audit sites.

    The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $145,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
