We are seeking a dynamic IT Business Analyst Section Manager who will be responsible for the managerial direction and leadership of the IT Business Analyst team. This includes supporting and executing business strategy, developing high performance team members, and promoting the Burns & McDonnell culture, values, and mission. This role will work directly with other leaders within the IT organization, and non-IT stakeholders, to ensure the team contributes to the success of the department by understanding business needs and translating them into requirements that can be executed upon.
Job Duties
Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
Implement, apply, and support company, global practice and/or regional office programs and initiatives; successfully navigating and managing change within the team.
Lead a team of diverse individuals with a balance of positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to create an including and productive work environment.
Achieve stated targets and standards for performance.
Manage department budget and expenditure of funds.
Recruitment, development, training, and retention of staff.
Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for the team.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the team.
Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the team.
Responsible for collaborating with all IT Leaders to maximize the value provided to the organization.
Ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience; seven (7) years of experience working in a technology-related field strongly preferred .
Ability to connect technology solutions to business needs.
Experience working with agile methodologies.
Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
Previous experience leading or contributing to digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
Ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and managed change.
Robust collaboration and leadership skills.
