  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Leads the team of cross functional team of business analysts, IT leads and support analysts to deliver end-to-end application management services for shopfloor apps deployed at more than 20 Adient JIT manufacturing facilities in North America.

    • Leads requirements analysis, support, launch and support activities for Sequencing and other shopfloor applications.

    • Develop and maintain application road map and architecture aligned with IT and business goals and objectives.

    • Initiate and lead CI actions to improve the application platform availability, performance, cost of ownership, service quality and response time.

    • Leads technical workshops, product road shows to increase the awareness of new changes, emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies.

    • Liaise with plant operations and materials team and extended IT teams to ideate, document, and prioritize the new business demand/CI projects.

    • Responsible to develop/present high level functional designs, project plans, solution architecture and budgetary estimations.

    • Manage shopfloor apps installation, configuration, and deployments at manufacturing sites.

    • Responsible to monitor the performance, reliability, and availability of the shopfloor applications

    • Responsible to manage release and change management processes for shopfloor apps while adhering to overall Adient IT change management/security/Disaster Recovery/audit compliance policies/procedures.

    • Collaborates with corporate Infrastructure team to define and certify the standards for shopfloor Client PCs and servers.

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with application deployment, data security, and compliance.

    • Maintain accurate documentation for applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and change management records.

    • Ensure applications adhere to industry standards, legal regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.

    • Manages weekly, monthly, quarterly and year goals and team performance appraisals.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS or related technical field.

    • Minimum 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in shopfloor systems space in manufacturing industry, preferably in automotive sector

    • Proven experience in ITIL based service design/execution specifically management of Incidents/ Problems/Changes and deployments.

    • At least 5 years' experience in managing team size of 6-10 people consisting of IT business and application support analysts in virtual and/or hybrid environment.

    • Demonstrated experience in leading medium/large scale IT software development, upgrade, deployment Projects.

    • Certifications in project management and service management would be a big plus (PMP, ITIL foundation)

    • Strong analytical, problem solving and problem management skills.

    • 15-20 % travel to Adient sites within North America region
