IT Security Specialist

Description 100% Remote.

Ensuring security updates are current across all systems. Running network tests and testing firewalls, creating patches or implementing new protocols as needed. Monitoring security administrations to ensure best practices. Running tests and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities. Developing plans and procedures to safeguard and recover data. Enhancing existing security with password protection, firewalls and other tools.

Knowledge of code (not from the angle of proficiency and programming). Someone who could take infrastructure (AWS) application vs infrastructure. No operations experience needed, access settings would be valuable standpoint, have increasing code base in type script so would be a plus.
