Job Title: Junior Controls Technician

Responsibilities:

• Complete typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required

• Provide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractors

• Responsible for graphics building

• Check out of HVAC control systems and wiring

• Complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required

• Document processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems

• Perform site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full with assistance

• Develop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors

• Attend job progress meetings as required

• Adhere to safety standards

• Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Controls and/or Electrical.

• Experience in Facility Explorer, Distech and/or Niagra is a plus.

• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs

• Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control systems is a plus

• Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation is a plus
