We are seeking a curious and mission-driven Lead Mechanical Technician to join our Environments and Infrastructure team in Golden Valley, MN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems

• Troubleshoot complex systems

• Collaborate with others

• Recommend improvements

U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 10+ years industry/military experience

• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance

WE VALUE

We value candidates who may have one or more of the following skills

• Associate of Science degree in a related STEM discipline (trade license in leu of AA.)

• Associate general applied science

• Experience with TIG welding and Laser Welding joinery

• Experience with powder metallurgy, hydraulic press, and metal powder molds

• Experience in building and maintaining vacuum or cryogenic systems

• Understanding of chemical handling protocols, compressed gases, and liquid cryogens

• Experience with chilled water systems and liquefied gas systems

• Experience transitioning components and processes from research and development to manufacturing
