    As a Logistics Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for combining engineering principles with the strategic organization of the storage and distribution process for materials and finished products. You will apply scientific and mathematical principles to analyze and design solutions that improve processes in receiving, storing, and delivering products to manufacturing. You will be analyzing department operations, drive strategies for optimizing areas of systems, personnel capabilities, inventory warehousing and transport and operational costs.

    Responsibilities and Tasks

    • Identify process improvements, work execution and problem solving for manage warehouse process.

    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve process and quality related problems by applying root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC methodology and provide corrective and preventive measures.

    • Implement Lean six sigma methodologies (6s, PDCA, RCA and CAPA, CIP,etc)

    • Integrate Quality Management System to ensure products and services meet customer expectations.

    • Monitor for adherence to policy and procedures and provide feedback for improvement.

    • Develop process and procedural improvements and provide detailed documentation and training others in the department.

    • Develop, monitor, report and improve performance metrics.

    • Act as liaison between team and customer groups

    • Support department performance improvement and cost reduction activities

    • Lead or participate in special projects by utilizing project management skills.

    • Promote partnership across functional areas and customer groups.

    • Maintain a proactive and customer-focused approach.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of professional experience is highly preferred.

    • Working knowledge of SAP

    • A good understanding of relational databases with hands-on experience designing and building databases and developing SQL statements (DML, DDL)

    • The willingness and ability to easily learn new programming languages and technologies.

    • The ability to work well with customers and listen to their feedback while balancing their needs with good software decision-making.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • A strong work ethic and good time management skills

    • The ability to handle and prioritize several concurrent projects or tasks.

    • A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • The ability to independently troubleshoot problems to resolution.

    • Having a semiconductor fabrication equipment and process engineering is a plus.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with CC55, MPARTS, SAP, 6S

    • Experience developing reports using Tableau or Power BI

    • Experience in Data analysis, data management and reporting

    Education

    • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
