Team or Function Overview

Maintenance Engineer who will perform engineering functions within the maintenance department to optimize machine operating time. The scope of work involves reducing the failure rate of equipment & machinery, optimizing equipment maintainability, extending equipment life and introducing engineering solutions that expedite maintenance services while improving operator effectiveness

Summary

• Serveasaninternalconsultingengineerforthemaintenancedepartment& generalengineeringconsultanttotheplant.

• PartnerwiththePreventiveMaintenance (PM)Engineertomanagethemaintenancedepartmentreliabilityprogram.

• Proposeand implementcapitalandexpenseprojectsforthemaintenancedepartment.Offerinputon thedevelopmentofrebuild&replacementcapitalprojects.Reviewcapitalprojectsfor reliability&equipmentserviceabilityissues.

• Participateinrootcauseanalysis&develop feasibleengineeringsolutions.Serveasthetechnicalconsultantfordevelopment& implementationofthemaintenanceinformationsystem.

Essential Duties

• Participateingoal-setting,strategy-development,decision-making& planningprocessesinthemaintenancedepartment.

• Ensurethatdrawings,renderings& schematicsforproposedequipment&machinerymodificationsareprepared&filed.

• Maintainaccurateas-isdrawings,renderings,schematicsofequipment&machinery modificationsinitiated&implementedbythemaintenancedepartment.Develop engineeringsolutionstorepetitiveequipmentfailures,excessiveequipmentwearissues, changeoverproblems.

• EmployAutoCADexpertisetodevelopdetailedengineering drawingsfornewprojectsaswellasexistingequipmentwherenodrawingexists.

Under This Roof, We Require

• A Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineeringalongwithdemonstratedexperienceusingAutoCAD,dataanalysis,project management,androotcauseanalysis.

• Demonstratedexperiencediagnosingand troubleshootingprocessandequipmentproblemsandpreparingprocedures,technical bulletinsandequipmentspecifications.

• Demonstratedintermediateproficiencyinthe MicrosoftOfficesuiteandAutoCAD.

• MustbelegallyauthorizedtoworkintheU.S.,without currentorfuturerequirementforsponsorshipofanemployment-basedvisastatus
