    The work:

    The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the testing standards, guidelines, and methodology outlined in the testing approach. Their duties will include defining, documenting, and obtaining approval for the Test Strategy and Approach. Furthermore, the Quality Engineer will be expected to support the overall product quality and testing resources, including manual and automated test cases. They will be accountable for tracking test metrics such as code coverage, quality, and performance. Additionally, they will review the development process to ensure that defect tracking, including identification, fixing, re-testing, and migration of defects, is adequately addressed. The Quality Engineer will coordinate and execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing.

    Here's what you need:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading test projects or a team

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing (application, product, system, regression testing)

    • Experience using the Software Development Lifecycle, including the manual and automated testing life cycle

    • Experience working in an Agile environment

    • Must have a Bachelor's degree

    • Must be a US Citizen ?

    Bonus points if you have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science

    • Experience working in a consulting environment ( understanding customer/business needs)

    • Experience with accessibility testing (Section 508 Compliance)

    • Experience developing test automation scripts in Selenium (Java, Cucumber)

    • Experience conducting manual and automation tools analysis, selection, and recommendation

    • Experience supporting test manual and automation assessments for multiple projects

    Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.     Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role :

    California: ($82,400 - $154,800)

    Colorado: ($82,400 - $133,700)

    New York: ($76,300 - $154,800)

    Washington State: ($87,800 - $142,300)
