How You'll Make an Impact

The primary job requirements of this position are to create, maintain, and develop manufacturing processes Steam Turbine Rotor manufacturing facility. Starting with the customer purchased work scope you will create an overall manufacturing process map with included detailed instruction for each production step required to fulfill the requirements of each order. This role is critical to our organization as the work produced within it drives organizational stability through standardized processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Standardize machining processes and quality control documents

• Innovate machining methodologies

• Create and issue detailed work instructions to factory floor Operation Team using SAP software.

• Produce operational standards for use by quoting organization for bids

• Support internal and external customer technical conversations with process expertise.

• Drive continuous improvement with Manufacturing Engineering colleagues

• Develop, document, and maintain standard repair solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering discipline is required.

• Working knowledge of machining and assembly processes.

• History of working well with others in a collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.

• 1+ year using SAP in manufacturing environment.

• Manufacturing process knowledge and experience.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
