We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern that would will be remote . This internship will run from May 20, 2024 - August 2, 2024 and is open to Undergrad or Grad students.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Implement lean 5s methodology at large Brandsafway branch locations with a focus on separation of personnel & powered industrial trucks (PITS).

• Focusing on material storage and product flow in the yards to achieve this.

• Design a standard layout of the co-located motorized equipment repair work areas.

• Create an updated material handling & storage manual using historical manuals. This manual will be used to train new hires at branches.

What You Need To Succeed:

• Lean methodology and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills

• Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering

• Understanding of Ergonomic principles

• Strong excel and PowerPoint Skills.

• Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Masters or Under grad degree in Engineering .

• Ability to participate in a full time internship between May 20, 2024 - August 2, 2024
