    The Mechanical Assembly Technician will be able to gain exposure and experience with a variety of different industries. Our customer works with Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device, Consumer Electronics, etc. This client is experiencing 20-30% growth year over year globally and have doubled in size over the last four years. The Rockville site is smaller so team members will get the opportunity to wear multiple different hats.

    Description

    • Technician will be working in a protoype/R&D environment and will work on the whole entire system dozens of times (which has many steps) as opposed to placing one component or widget over and over again.

    • Mechanical assembly of a wide variety of electronic devices for applications in military, medical and industrial environments

    • Provide and document feedback on design for assembly and manufacturing processes

    • Support inventory management

    • Manage lab organization

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Desired Qualifications

    • Associate's Degree or Technical Degree in Engineering or related technical field

    • Ability to receive, assess and debug incoming returned failing devices for repair

    • Experience with electronics assembly, including soldering

    • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training

    • Reading schematics

    • Debugging
