responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and verify mechanical components for medical devices under supervision.

• Assist with prototyping and bench testing activities.

• Interpret customer needs and understand design inputs.

• Understand the product's intended use and clinical procedures.

• Understand fundamental industry standards, design requirements, and test strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams for project success.

• Learn procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required for the role.

Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering practices, design principles, and tools within a regulated environment.

• Basic proficiency in design and concept generation using CAD or CAE modeling tools (e.g., Creo).

• Basic understanding of analysis tools and statistical methods.

• Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods.

• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
