Overview

The Co-op/Intern - Scientific Data Support Analyst will work within the CMC Process Development & Industrialization (PD&I) department, supporting the alignment of data sets and enhancing the efficiency of digital tools used by our scientists. This role is crucial for facilitating effective data management practices and promoting the use of digital resources across our research platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the review and analysis of current data practices within lab-based departments, identifying areas for improvement.

• Support the development and implementation of data pipelines to ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources.

• Collaborate with senior Scientific Data Transformation Leaders to enhance data quality, accessibility, and integrity according to Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability (FAIR) principles.

• Engage with scientists and engineers to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and process optimization.

• Utilize digital tools and data analytics to support R&D initiatives and streamline workflows.

• Help track and report on the effectiveness of data standardization and digital transformation efforts.

About You

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields.

• A strong interest in data management, biopharmaceutical R&D, and digital transformation strategies.

• Basic understanding of FAIR data principles and data standardization processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills with fluency in English; French is advantageous.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multinational team environment.
