Network Engineer

Description - Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure tailored to the specific needs of our restaurant environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Plan and execute network expansion projects to accommodate new restaurant openings and technology upgrades, coordinating with cross-functional teams as necessary.

• Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, to support the connectivity requirements of our restaurants.

• Implement and manage network security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance across all restaurant locations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to restaurant staff and IT teams, assisting with network-related inquiries and troubleshooting as needed.

• Serve as a Systems Administrator, managing server infrastructure, operating systems, and software applications to ensure reliability and security.

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups, and develop disaster recovery plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

• Collaborate with cable technicians to plan and execute wiring projects encompassing electrical installations and ethernet cabling.

• Coordinate with cable technicians to install and maintain internet, cable TV, and phone systems for restaurant locations.

• Integrate and manage IoT devices such as smart thermostats, lighting systems, and kitchen appliances to enhance operational efficiency and guest experiences.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across all IT systems and infrastructure.
