Network Testing Lab Operations Manager

Role Description

GFiber is seeking a Network Testing and Automation Manager to play a pivotal role in the Network Planning & Engineering team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our network changes adhere to the highest standards of reliability and performance. In this role, you'll:

• Managing production and qualification tests for network changes

• Overseeing network automation and regression activities

• Ensuring proper testing and verification of operational and engineering changes

• Collaborating with operational and engineering teams on testing requirements

• Managing lab resources and implementing network automation frameworks

• Providing leadership and guidance to the network lab team

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelors's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 9 years of experience in network testing and qualification or equivalent

• Experienced in the automation and regression testing of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies.

• 3 years of experience in leading a network lab environment

• Experience with production and qualification testing methodologies

It's preferred if you have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Certification in network testing or related domains

• Familiarity with network virtualization and cloud technologies

• Track record of driving innovation in network testing practices

• Experience with optical transport, wireline, core and edge, peering technologies

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive results

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $214,000 - $235,000 + cash award + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
