    Open Text Operations Bridge Manager ( OBM) Application Administrator

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provide technical support and administration for Open Text (Micro Focus) OBM which includes several components: such as RTSM, Operations Agents, Management Packs, Policy Templates, Aspects and Management Templates, responding to production issues and assisting in tasks.

    • Contribute to application and database related enhancements, upgrades and tasks under supervision.

    • Participate in the monitoring and troubleshooting of OBM, including incident logs, records and related infrastructure systems.

    • Work with the team to address OBM integration and data collection from products such as Network Node Manager i (NNMi), Network Automation (NA), SiteScope and related infrastructure.

    • Install, activate and maintain Operations Agent on a Windows and Linux nodes

    • Proficient with Linux/UNIX command line.

    • Contribute and continuously improve OBM documentation.

    • Continue to develop and enhance technical skills.

    • Knowledge and experience in security practices including applying SSL certifications and vulnerability remediations.

    • Apply problem-solving abilities to address application and related infrastructure issues.

    • Follow established best practices and standards in application service delivery.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience

    • Proven experience in application and infrastructure technology analysis

    • Proficiencies in data analysis and problem-solving

    • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

    Other Qualifications:

    • An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus

    • Relevant certifications, such as Open Text (Micro Focus) Certifications, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCENT, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus

    Candidate must be a US Person, have a valid US Indefinite Work Permit and comply with ITAR regulations.

    Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $35,800 - $52,000.

    Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
