    The Operational Technology Regional Systems Manager manages and supports numerous, concurrent networks, devices, and systems. Provides software, systems, and test engineering tasks for the requirements, design, test, sales, implementation, integration, and support of all software and associated documentation for new, upgraded, and existing capabilities. Provides network engineering expertise to assist in design, implementation, and support of enterprise data, video network, radio communication and cyber security monitoring. Performs maintenance and upgrades in support of highly secure and available networks including design, specification, installation, configuration, and support of a wide variety of specialized network hardware and software.

    Basic qualifications:

    • BS degree and seven (7) years of system management experience; Or a master's degree and three (3) years system management experience. In lieu of a post high school degree eleven (11) years of system management development experience is required.

    • Network and devices best practices and procedures

    • Knowledge of, and skill in applying, the following: performance monitoring principles and methods; quality assurance principles; technical documentation methods and procedures; systems security methods and procedures; analytical methods; written communication techniques sufficient to accomplish assignments; identify and resolve issues and problems; prepare and update manuals, instructions, and operating procedures; provide information and assistance to customers; evaluate established methods and procedures and prepare recommendations for changes in methods and practices where appropriate; and ensure the application of appropriate security measures to the assignment.

    • Ability to assist in defining, implementing, and maintaining mature and disciplined processes and procedures, assist with designing and implementing data collection processes, conduct cost/benefit tradeoff analysis, and propose and identify changes to the current process.

    • This position requires: knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management software on PC computer systems; the ability to propose changes to the current process to streamline and improve process completion times and product quality.

    • Must have experience and capabilities with successful development of complex systems in geographically dispersed, multi-vendor environments.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training and/or Certifications within and around Cybersecurity

    • Experience in reviewing completed work for soundness of overall approach, effectiveness in meeting requirements, the feasibility of recommendations, and adherence to task requirements.

    • Ability to work in an environment often involving several activities being pursued concurrently or sequentially with the support of others within or outside the company.

    • Comfortable deciding what needs to be done by conducting extensive investigation and analysis of largely undefined factors and conditions to determine the nature and scope of problems and to devise solutions. The employee makes continuing efforts to develop new concepts, theories, or programs, or to solve problems that have previously resisted solution.

    Job Requirements:

    • Provides oversight of applicable ongoing tasks to ensure that each objective is being met, that all delivery requirements are fulfilled, and all work remains on schedule.

    • Maintains close liaison with the customers to prioritize key tasking and ensure timely resolution of any programmatic issues.

    • Oversees technology development, resource allocation, and performance with respect to the task.

    • Coordinates and leads daily and weekly meetings to expedite specific task processes.

    • Provides oral or written status of task status and ensures deliverables are provided to the appropriate stakeholders in accordance with requirements.

    • Endorses and implements company policies and procedures

    • Completion of employee performance appraisals and employee counseling, if assigned the responsibilities of employee supervision.
