Position Description:

This is a mid-level position in the Industrial Security field. Do you have a strong background in Personnel Security? Are you looking at working with a dynamic and professional group of security support personnel in a Security Services Center (SSC)? Then this position is for you. As a member on this team, you'll be accountable for the performance of standard and specialized personnel security processes. The selected candidate will provide timely, accurate, and courteous processing of personnel security actions throughout the contract lifecycle. This position is in the Department's Personnel SSC supports numerous government agencies.

This position is located in our Huntsville, AL office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

*Participate in the initiation, preparation, and submission of required personnel security

actions for access to National Security Information and Intelligence Community

programs

*Participate in the processing of paperwork for Public Trust/Clearance positions

*Duties include accurate and timely: daily database interactions (DISS/NBIS, SIMS and

internal CGI systems), communications with cleared personnel; maintaining personnel

security and suitability records, processing outgoing clearance certifications; pre-

screening of potential hires; and completion of client-specific security processes

(badging, CACs, SAAR, and other onboarding requirements)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $37,100.00 - $74,100.00.
