Pipeline Technical Artist needed for Full Time, Remote Opportunity with Randstad Digitals client in California.

About the position

Our client is seeking a candidate skilled in the technical aspects of content pipeline development to contribute to their ongoing projects. This role involves driving advancements in content pipelines and associated backend systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in technical development within the Unreal environment and associated pipelines. This opportunity will involve collaboration with a diverse team comprising talented individuals from various backgrounds such as games, Visual FX, autonomous systems, and robotics.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in Pipeline development.

• Proficiency as an advanced user of at least one 3D DCC tool (e.g., Maya/Houdini).

• Solid understanding of Python programming and its application in game/film pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with engineers to develop custom logic as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine or other real-time engines (e.g., Frostbite, Unity).

• Experience with Houdini.

• Knowledge of C++, HLSL/GLSL.

• Exposure to Machine Learning concepts.

• Background in Computer Science or Software Engineering is a plus.
